Location: Right next to the Port of Ciutadella on the northern side of the port, Sa Farola is a small picturesque calm inlet right next to the port’s lighthouse of the same name.
Description: Small shallow inlet with almost no sandy beach, few people and surrounding rock platforms for sunbathing.
Perfect For: Visitors from the town who want a quick dip in the sea within walking distance of Ciutadella
Access Level: Easy. Access by walking, bicycle or car. No wheelchair access to beach level.

Access 1 – Either walking, on bike or by car on the road heading north along the northern side of the port along the port called the ‘Camí de Sa Farola’ passing the old Ferry terminal and heading straight to the end of the street. The beach is on the left just before the turn in the road. Approximately 15 minutes walk from the bridge at the port.
Access 2 – Either walking or on bike, take the coast road from Cala Blanes Beach south towards Ciutadella passing the lighthouse ‘Sa Farola’. The beach is just after the lighthouse. Approx. 20 minutes walk or 10 minutes on a bike.
NOTE – It is not possible to take this road by car as it is only one way from Ciutadella.

Dispose of your rubbish, cigarette butts included! There are garbage and recycling bins in the car parks and every street. Reuse plastic bags to take your waste to the closest bin.
